About Basecamp First Aid

16 Hour Outdoor First Aid

2 days | ITC First regulated | Level 3 training for anyone working or adventuring more than 30 minutes from emergency help — remote casualty care, environmental emergencies, and evacuation planning.

Basecamp First Aid is led by a former Royal Marines Commando with 20 years in education and an ITC-regulated first aid instructor. That combination — real experience in high-pressure environments plus a background in teaching — means courses that are practical, clearly explained, and built to stick under pressure, not just pass a test.

Our qualifications are subject to robust internal verification and quality assurance. Level 3 qualifications are externally regulated by ITC First, and our outdoor courses are additionally accredited by the Institute of Outdoor Learning — so whatever you book, you're getting a nationally recognised certificate, not a weekend badge.

Emergency First Aid at Work

1 day | HSE-compliant | Valid 3 years
The standard legal qualification for most offices, shops and lower-risk workplaces — CPR, defibrillator use, wound care and managing an unresponsive casualty.

First Aid for Sports and Fitness

For coaches, PE staff and trainers
Covers the injuries you'll actually see pitch-side or in the gym — fractures, sprains, concussion, and collapse during exercise.
