This qualification is designed to meet the needs of those working away from immediate assistance (more than 30 mins) in the remote and rural regions of the UK. This Outdoor First Aid qualification is externally regulated and meets the standards to appear upon the national qualifications frameworks of England and Wales. This course is recognised throughout the UK and is the course of choice for experienced practitioners who use the outdoors.
It is suitable for people working or spending recreational time in rural and remote settings and will maintain the license to practice for those with outdoor National Governing Body Instructor awards, such as Mountain Leaders, Climbing Instructors, Ski Instructors, Mountain Guides, Paddlesport Instructors, Mountain Bike Instructors, Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Leaders, Horse Riders, Geography Field Trip Leaders and Forest School Leaders.
The course also meets the requirements of the Institute for Outdoor Learning (IOL) Statement of Good Practice for Outdoor First Aid Training at Band 3.
Your course place / your group booking is confirmed when an invoice has been issued.
Certificates will not be issued until full payment is received and cleared and only to those candidates who have completed and passed the course.
All invoices are due within 30 days of the date shown on that invoice or on the day of the course, whichever is sooner.
In the unlikely event of a course being cancelled by us, we will look into transferring you to an alternative course being held with ourselves. If there is no suitable alternative available we will issue you with a full refund of any monies paid to us directly. We are not liable for any other losses or expenses incurred.
If the course has to be cancelled at short notice due to unforeseen circumstances, we will make contact with you by email or telephone using the contact details provided at the time of your booking.
